One easy way is to use DOSBox and a free DPMI provider.

Win64, eh? If it's 8+, Pro, and you have VT-X, then "maybe" (???) you could use Hyper-V. Otherwise, use VirtualBox + FreeDOS (although I admit it's hard to share files, but one guy did write VMSMOUNT for VMware). Actually, I almost forgot that you can mount .VHD files in Explorer for easy copying back and forth.
I dislike Vernon's fork of FD Debug since he made the license non-free (for no good nor obvious reason). EDIT: https://www.lazybrowndog.net/freedos/virtualbox/?page_id=21 |
