Got a unique find at the RadioShack Memorabilia auction:
http://www.vcfed.org/forum/showthread.php?58702-Tandy-1000-WS It has a nice little ISA card on it with a 32K Boot ROM that boots into a Tandy terminal emulation program. I'm guessing this assembly can be extracted somehow into a .exe or .com file so that I can play with it on another system. From what I can see about boot rom documentation, they all begin with >55AA and then have a length (this one is >40 for 32K). Then, the assembly begins after that. The example hex http://imgur.com/a/GJDE7 and actual file is in that VCFed thread. (I didn't know if I can attach it here or not.) However, this is a bit beyond my ability. I can do some assembler on my TI-99/4A, but never delved into X86 at all. So I have no idea about the structures, etc. Can anyone please help? Thanks! |
