Does Menuet32 use hardware task switching or does it implement multitasking in software? I was running Menuet32 and looking at QEMU's monitor, and I notice that the value of the TSS (TR register) keeps changing.

Menuet32 uses Task State Segment for task switching, which is a little faster than saving the registers etc. manually with code.
