it is not only my .DLL but the IDE i made works perfect in Vista, just not in windows 8, i hunted all day for a solution, tried everything, to get my Gorf32 to work, Microsoft did it, screwed with the system, i lost years of work... there needs to be a help file for people upgrading the .ASM from Vista to windows 8 and all the changes to make.

It might be that you are running Windows 8 in 64-bit mode. This would mean that the 16-bit DOS VDM is not available. You could try a program like DosBox to give you 16-bit emulation.

or you could try virtual machine like virtual box and install vista,xp or dos (or any other os you wish)in it.

they need a product key. NOPE! Can't do what you said. GorfWin shold run on every version of windows, not just 1 platform...i feel like a fool going to a friends computer with this ASM file.
