MediaPlayer 1.00 released! It has matured to be a stable player for various streams.

MPlayer can now decode and play mp3, dvd (pal/ntsc/pcm), digital TV (mpeg-2,mp3) and mpeg (mpeg-2,mp3) movie files. Its written from scratch by me and Akos Mogyorosi, full assembly. So its not based on any other players. The player doesn't need GPU or other acceleration, all decoding for audio and video streams takes place in the main x86 cpu.

I'm planning to release a short demonstration video in the near future.

Ville,

What would I need to do to get my Hauppauge TV Tuners work with it? Is it plug and play?

Tuner application, which is included to m64 image, changes the device status to Connected, when a compatible tuner is inserted. List of compatible tuners: http://www.menuetos.net/hwc.txt

You'll only need the firmware, which is available here:
http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Hauppauge_WinTV-NOVA-T-Stick
file: dvb-usb-dib0700-1.20.fw

This firmware works for all dibcom 0700 usb tuners.
