Hello everyone,

I am really new on this and I am not sure where to start to write a program that's able to copy a file (any file) from a usb flash drive to the hard drive using windows fasm.

Thanks for any help in advance!

Handling files on USB flash drive is not different than handling any other file in the system. Read about file functions in Windows.

File management functions

At first read about: CreateFile, ReadFile, WriteFile, SetFilePointer, CloseHandle.

How to import and use Windows functions in FASM program - read the applied examples in the FASM package and other FASM sources from the forum.
