Saw just today but this things are timeless!...
Here you can find a stronger (few ply), shorter (455 bytes) and more correct (no illegal moves done) comparable (run in DOS or DOSBOX) version: http://smmax.sf.net Smile
And there is also one compatible with full fide rules (i.e. managing castling, en-passant and underpromotion) with user friendly input (arrows and enter to grab/release) and colors totalling just 583 bytes!
