I had downloaded this software http://jasmin.sourceforge.net/guide.html which lets me simulate the architecture of a 32 bit cpu and I can enter assembly language into the UI and it will display the registers and values in memory.
Unfortunately it doesn't represent the x86_64 bit architecture and therefore several of the registers are missing. Is there something similar for Intel 64 bit architecture? UI of Jasmin is shown in the attachment.

Apparently QEMU will do 64 and 32 bit. I don't know about the UI though, it might require a bit of setting up with a guest OS image etc.
