The dev kit with 1280x800 screen seems to be a nice try, but unfortunately, due to the lenses with give a pincushion distortion and the uniformly rasterized screen, it suffers from a low pixel density right in the center of the view, while the resolution on the peripherals is wasted.

If you provided a link to something that has a nice description then you might garner more interest from readers here.

tthsqe,
i guess, it would be really lucky to have one,
i read from internet earlier months before, when they push it into kickstarter,
this device is kinda immersive,

don't tell me you got one dev kit on your hand?

I do, but I do not own it. I am going to try some stereoscopic 3d fractal zooms today, but from my tests yesterday the resolution on the dev kit does seem to be a bummer.

wow, idk how the feeling if one gonna wear that thing for some hours.
is there some sort of internal fan inside or cooler to control inside eye mask temperature?

i saw another earlier, like a big helmet type,

could you see a 1 pixel dot?

hmm, I didn't even consider the temperature. It's not even close to airtight because the trim is made of a breathable cloth.
> could you see a 1 pixel dot?
Yes, unfortunately I could make out each pixel in the center of the screen. This is due to the pincushion distortion of the lenses, which are there to increase the field of view. Only about 30% of the pixels on the 1280x800 screen were visible to me.

when you make the screen in black color, do you really see black, total darkness or, you could feel the presence of some sort of light?
or could you make it so bright that you got to shut off your eye lid?

just want to know the really bright, and total darkness capabilities, kinda interesting,
