We have applied for Google Summer of Code this year, but we weren't selected. So we raised some money ourselves on Kickstarter, and we are now offering stipends of USD $2,250 to 2 students: http://board.kolibrios.org/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=2326

Our own Summer of Code 2013 was very successful. We got 4 student proposals and accepted 2 students, who implemented EXT2/3/4 write support and XFS read support for KolibriOS during summer 2013.
This year, we have been accepted into official Google Summer of Code, so if you are a student and like FASM, you are more than welcome to apply: http://www.google-melange.com/gsoc/org2/google/gsoc2014/kolibrios A preliminary list of our ideas can be found here: http://wiki.kolibrios.org/wiki/Google_Summer_of_Code_2014 But you are more than welcome to suggest an idea of your own! |

I have been following this project for some months, I would say keep the work up.
KolibriOS has a lot of developers working on it, EXT FS support and full networking (as I've seen) is a great achievement, Hope this project goes ahead! Good luck for Google Summer of Code 2014! Best Wishes -sid123 |
