hi folks, I'm interested to make text 2 speech application for my own language and from scratch and in assemby language. would someone explain me the flow of steps how should I do it? because I'm totally new for these things.

i don't think we should be experts in this domain to imagine solutions, we all speak as easy as we breath, we just have to translate what our brain make with letters and sound in a mechanical way.

you will maybe need a map to make correspond phonems to char groups.

and it is a lot of work to identify the char groups giving phonems.

first step would be to just map single letters with simple sounds (just a LUT there), and after, it will come itself as an evidence. Smile

hmm, how about to speak "A, B, C, .." words and when text is typed it will play these sounds? or is it a bad idea? :/

T2S is a very large subject. There is a lot of information available about it and many many studies have been done to improve the results. If you are hoping to implement a simple algorithm from an explanation here on this board then you would be disappointed with the results.

There are so many things in speech to get right. Intonation, tone, pitch, speed, emphasis, timing, pauses, volume, stress, etc.
