I installed Mageia on a laptop that was thrown away but still works.

Before the installation,it was setup to try to boot from a CD first.

Now I can not enter the BIOS.

It says "Press any key to boot from CD" but Mageia continues to load.

Can someone help me please ?

Thanks,
Andy

Maybe that is why it was thrown away, a malfunctioning keyboard?

You may be right.

I had a letter key that wasn't working right and I cleaned the keyboard and that key started working correctly.

(Lot of hair was in the keys.)

I have to get a keyboard for a desktop system, so I can use it to see if the onboard keyboard for the laptop "ist kaputt".
