> Heap > Really AMAZING 64-bit detection in 16-Bit Mode (YAY!)
So yeah I made a 64-bit detection stuff for my OS. I call it 64CHK (64-bit check)
For me it shows 64-bit is compatible in QEMU since my Real Machine is an i3-64.
I did this for my 64-bit OS bootloader (POS-64 aka the Portable Operating System for x64) not released to public yet since it's very buggy.
I know you guys would already know this stuff, but for me it's a great achievement (i am a noob btw)..
Here's a shot: (Note dev/fda1 is a Virtual-Partition on the Floppy Disk, my OS has VFS implemented though if anybody wonders what's "fda1")
Also I am not a mad computer guy programming at 3:31 AM, it's just a QEMU bug for not adding a "-localtime" arg.
