fasm is best assembler,
it can compile tga images with fractals and any data type. but missing such trivial feature like linking with .libs

.libs are the evil of programming. you just need to extract symbols from your lib (DLL, SO) in order to link to them... .lib is a hll concept guy.
it's like saying, fasm is really cool, but it cannot convert .wav to .mov

Create your .obj with FASM.
Link with a free linker.

gcc is missing that feature also
its a feature of a linker, not assembler/compiler
