Would anyone happen to have an extremely simple crossplatform OpenGL app? Just opening an empty window in Windows and Linux, I'd like to use it as a starting point.

Thanks for the pingback, but I'm actually trying to replicate it in pure assembly (the glfw is the first thing I started to take apart, haha), but I'm having no luck thus far.

I seem to remember seeing some OpenGL in HLA. You might try searching on that. It should be easy enough to clean up into regular asm.

thing is for linux it is GLX, for win it is WGL, for ??? it is ???

EGL should become universal as it is "made" by Khronos, but it is still not supported by all drivers

theres an example using GLUT and GL1.2 in NASM, probably plenty more on the 'net

Never mind, don't bother with it - but thanks anyway.
