i am scare to use everything,
it seems you could get hacked any moment because running some code that you dont know how it works,

be it latest version windows, firefox, chrome, bit torrent softwares, image viewer, flash, html5,

they are full of bugs we havent discover,

internet speed is getting faster / year, your D or data drive or /home could be copied over wire in less than 10 minutes and maybe 1 hour if you got a lot,

SSD is making copying even more faster,

then what is the nextstep for our internet, information technology evolution?

If you avoid Windows and Android and use a cable or DSL router you just eliminated 99.9% of all threats.

Honestly, I use Windows, Linux and Android and never had security problems.

I never caught a virus or got hacked. Maybe I'm lucky?

I don't think you're lucky but if you run Android don't be so sure you never had security problems.
If you don't do anything stupid you also rule out 99% of attacks on Windows and most people have a cable or DSL router.

i figure out 1 idea,
since internet bandwidth has increase, almost all home got 1mbps minimum line now,

then i see no reason, file (especially photos) must be in single 1 file,
there should be a file format, that 7zipped several photos into 1 file, ending be .pngg (group)
jpegg bmpg gifg and so on.

it is like 7z, except the viewer understand what inside, open to a picture browser mode,

that kinda idea...

ah, yeah, the file format is like that,
except, it will opens up in a album like viewer, (not animating each pic inside like gif) but of course, user could click slideshow and let each pictures scroll,

Haha, mine is 1mbps. I was using 56K dial-up 1 year ago. Razz

56K is like 4 kbyte per second.... idk how you survive 1 year ago,

current telco throttled speed after quota is around 15kbyte per second

fast network open up more possibilities,
auto increase DDOS power,

maybe current bandwidth is used more on bit torrent, movie, song, tube, entertainment kinda media transfer,

maybe some percentage go to operating system iso transfer,

some to camera, cctv, backup sync to another server,

50% to http servicing? be it image, text, html, idk, but love to see 2013 statistic on network usage Wink

But seriously. Filesharing, porn, youtube, voip are what I'd expect most of the traffic to be. And spam perhaps.
