Attack on Titan (進撃の巨人 Shingeki no Kyojin?, lit. "Advancing giants") is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama, which is set in a world where the remains of the human population live inside cities surrounded by enormous walls due to the sudden appearance of the Titans, gigantic humanoid creatures who devour humans seemingly without reason. The story centers around the life of Eren Jaeger and his adoptive sister Mikasa Ackerman, whose lives are changed forever after the appearance of a colossal titan brings about the destruction of their home and the death of their mother.

I just found the manga:
http://www.mangahere.com/manga/shingeki_no_kyojin/

Well the artwork is... "plain and boring" (if "bad" sound harsh).
But the story is very fascinating. Lots of wicked twists.

Very Happy

Since this Thread is the reason why I learned about Attack on Titan (You don't get an anime recommendation on an ASM Forum everyday), I'm gonna spam here Legend of the Galactic Heroes:

You guys, better stop watching pictures and read some books. They are way better for your intellect.

Lol, reminds me when I was young. The only thing that interested me in Newspapers/prints was the cartoons, pictures and diagrams.

I avoided anything printed without illustrations.

Yes, Attack on Titan is a decent shounen series. There is a lot of other good stuff out there as well. I'm watching GTO at the moment now that it's available at Crunchyroll. Hunter x Hunter was pretty good too but then again I usually prefer stuff with more comedy.

My two personal favorites are Death Note (season 1, not so much the second)
And Code Geass both seasons.

sleep_sleep, if you liked Code Geass, I think Death Note will be up to your taste ^^
