Bad news, since my personal & office mails are Google apps mails.

One of the problems of relying on the "cloud".

revolution,

Is there something absolutely reliable? I had bunch of DVD backups, then my nephew used almost all of them to get some sparkles in microwave (granted, I had another two copies hidden better Wink).

I think you missed my point. Having a single point of failure is asking for trouble. There is no problem using the cloud (as long as one accepts the privacy issues) but don't make it of such importance that you are dead if it fails.

revolution,

Didn't you miss that another two copies part? I was talking about redundancy that increases reliability. Anyway, I agree that putting all eggs in a single basket is a bad idea.

typedef,

If I'd knew, I'll provide him with a hundred of blanks for that experiment. Yet he decide that he knows better. Wink

HaHaAnonymous,

They're reliable enough for me. I do experience failures, yet no loss: my diversified collection of media allowed me to recover those missed bytes. As a matter of fact, I have quite old MCs with some software for Sinclair, BK-0010 and RK-86 (ahhh, those were the days! Wink).
