idsoftware is just giving a blank page when I browse it's store ...
I found Doom and Doom II on a french abandonware site:

Doom 1 - http://www.abandonware-france.org/ltf-jeu.php3?id=166
Doom 2 - http://www.abandonware-france.org/ltf-jeu.php3?id=233

And as fasm9 told it you can find ports of Doom (didn't look for Doom2) on sourceforge ...

Since ID is still selling Doom II, (download only) it's not abandonware.

There seems to be a problem with the www.idsoftware.com site, but this does NOT mean that DOOM II is abandonware.

I dont think i meantioned it but i was using the doom2.wad from the trial version, i played it again today but the only problem is that you have to be really quick in the menu, if you wait to long it closes.. i think it closes when the background pic should change, can you fix this? I dont think it's illegal when i send you doom2.wad from the trial..

Shareware == Shareware, the first episode of doom2 was distributed as shareware iirc. And it is perfectly legal to use that wad in any doom engine.

I still can't get menuet doom to work tough Sad
(probalby a problem with my fat32 partition not being the first one)
