Hello, Very nice OS, works real good with a 2.7ghz Celeron Processor.

1. Is there a way to shut down the desktop and restore it?
2. If you cannot shutdown the desktop is there a way to just restore it?
3. can you call any bios interrupts?
4. Is there any sort of memory allocation scheme yet?

thats all I can think of right now. have a number of high speed graphics routines I would like to add to Menuet, and would be very handy to have these functions.

Function 64 resizes application memory which is defined in the header. For direct video memory access, sys.function 61 returns information about resolution and scanline length. With Vesa 2.0, gs points to video memory. Mov [gs:0],dword 0xffffff - sets a white pixel to the up-left corner.
