the next boom technology that gonna come to everybody house,

seems like physical open source,

download the 3D object file, copy to printer memory, then wait...

of course, nobody will amaze with physical object only, next thing they will add electronic stuffs into printed object,

but, to print something, we would need raw material, (maybe to buy)

then somebody print out bio machine that able to convert stuff to another stuff,

get 1 pail of sand,
get 1 liter water,
get half kilo sugar,

mix them and wait,
ding dong, your raw material is ready, proceed to print anything you want,

laser printing is quite cheap, cost around USD 20 for a (third-party) powder refill,
then you could print near 1000 pages to 3000 pages.

ink cartridge is still expensive atm, the most cost effective would be this model from HP

printer is cheap, ink cartridge is cheap, but quality is so so.

this must be great news!

Filabot Turns Your Plastic Junk Into Material for 3-D Printers
Quote:

Filabot promises to help turn your plastic crap into 3-D printed fanciness, alleviating one of the biggest sustainability problems for 3-D printing.

3-D printing is in its infancy, and when coupled with a Filabot a 3-D printer will be a complete closed-loop recycling system on your desk, office or school. I also see a lot of potential for helping out third-world countries.

“So far the plastics that work are HDPE, LDPE, ABS, NYLON. More to come on the different types that work.” They don’t process PVC because of toxicity concerns.
