how is this possible?
it is possible, because "i am" Laughing

the main idea is simple,
you think what sentence (in english) that you wish to know in mandarin, then i will help you with it.

rule 1 = it must be sentence, no single word allow

i start with a simple one

E: "i am" sleepsleep
M: "wo 我 shi 是" sleepsleep
http://translate.google.com/#en/zh-CN/i%20am%20sleepsleep

you could replace "sleepsleep" with any name

E: "i like sleeping"
M: wo 我 shi 喜 huan 欢 shui 睡 jiao 觉
http://translate.google.com/#en/zh-CN/i%20like%20sleeping

you could replace "sleeping" with whatever thing, hobby, place and etc.

hope you guys learn something new today!

Since love is a very important thing I guess these sentences may be very useful during any trip through Asia:

Wǒ ài Zhōngguó.

Aku cinta Malaysia dan Indonesia.

Very Happy

My sentence: "Where are the girls?"

I hope I learn something new today! Thank you!

E: where
M: na 哪 li 里
http://translate.google.com/#auto/zh-CN/where

E: where are
M: zai 在 na 哪 li 里
http://translate.google.com/#auto/zh-CN/where%20are

usage is like this,
eg, (places/people/location/object) where are?
eg, Sex Museum 在哪里? Sleepsleep 在哪里, Toilet 在哪里?

------------------------------------------------------------------------

regarding the "girls", it needs a little bit clarification,
E: girl
M: nv(nǚ) 女 hai 孩 zi 子
http://translate.google.com/#auto/zh-CN/girl

to get the "zi 子" sound, please translate the word "kids"

女孩子 (girl) is more girl kids.

depend on country and location, the word use to flirt a lady is different. (i suppose that is what you mean when you ask where are the girls) or you mean something else, please let me know.

i suggest using the following,
mei 美 nv 女 zai 在 na 哪 li 里
pronunciation for 美女 :http://translate.google.com/#auto/zh-CN/beauty

ok,
E: it is a
M: zhe 这 shi 是 ge 个 omit the yi 一
http://translate.google.com/#auto/zh-CN/this%20is%20a

usage :
if you omit the ge 个,
zhe 这 shi 是 (object, person)
zhe shi apple (this is apple),
zhe shi shoorick (this is shoorick) // eg. when i introduce shoorick to my friend

it is, this is (is about the same in mandarin)

E: nice
M: hao 好
E: idea
M: zhu 主 yi 意

Ok, where's the entire phrase? I would thank you if you post.

Thanks in advance! haha, advance!

the entire phrase is there,
you could ask google translate to read it out for you by copy the mandarin words to the translate box, eg.

so, i gonna teach you some common "opening" sentence to express yourself, your ideas, and to kick start the communication with others.

1.i think 我想
eg. i think (you can pause for a while here), maybe i will finish consider your proposal by this end of the week.
you said, i think, then you tell what you think to the person you communicate.

2. i thought / i suppose 我以为
eg. i thought, that car will turn left....
something happened not exactly as you suppose, so you can say, i thought, and then the story...

3. already 了
you put this at the end of the sentence, (which means, completed already, become past event)
eg. eat (了), sleep (了), go (了),

http://translate.google.com/#en/zh-CN/%E6%88%91%E6%83%B3%EF%BC%8C%0A%E6%88%91%E4%BB%A5%E4%B8%BA%EF%BC%8C%0A%E5%90%83%E4%BA%86%EF%BC%8C%0A%E7%9D%A1%E4%BA%86%EF%BC%8C%0A%E5%8E%BB%E4%BA%86%EF%BC%8C

Be very careful when using this one:

"sleepsleep 去了"

could also mean

"sleepsleep is dead / has just passed away / just died".
