I tried MeOS on my new HP i5 machine. On VirtualBox I got again and again message "No long mode avialable" (or something like that). I tried many times and still no effect. (32 bit KolibriOS works OK). On real hardware OS wrote: "wrong parameter in config.mnt" (or something like that) I tried various parameters and no effect. My machine is: i5, 4gb RAM, resolution: 1080x1920, usb mouse and keyboard... Could someone help me Question
PS
In 64 bit qemu meos work correct, but rather slow...

Hi Macgub. What version of Virtualbox and host OS are you running ? I've tried M64 with VB 4.2.4/Windows 7 and VB 4.0.16/Mac OS 10.5.8. Both work fine with bridged networking and Intel pro/1000 emulation.

Have you enabled 64bit execution in VirtualBox ?
At VB menu: machine/settings/general: Type: MS, Version: Win7 64bit, to enable 64bit client code.
And system/acceleration menu: Enable VT-x/AMD-V, which might also require enabling at BIOS settings.
Also, the disk image might be corrupted.
Have you tried other 64 bit systems ?
