These things tend to affect the whole world IMO. Whether it be for good or bad, major events in the USA have a large influence over many other countries.

As I always say: no one can see the future.
Maybe he will do something good? Who knows...

"change" and they chanted it last time, but it seems, those in power don't want to "change"

continue with this rate, this system, what await us is hell. Laughing Laughing

what happened in Greece, will happen in everywhere sooner or later.

Chaos in Athens: Greek police use water cannons, teargas against protesters

people is getting sick,
it is not political parties, religions, TPTB, corporation that people should abide to

only core values (truth, humanity & justice) could save us in future.

Obama is a corporate whore like the rest of them. But he's probably the lesser evil of the available puppets...

LOL.

Total dickery on this thread. First of all, please be reminded that it's not that easy being a president.

You have two opposing powers most of the times(Congress and the SC) and you can't just fucking be like "let there be FUCKING EDUCATION IN THIS AREA" or "Let there be CHANGE because I promised so".

People in the Government have to come together on the same lane in order for these "changes" to take place. And you have seen how tough it was for the same president to pass the health care bill. Because people disagreed and chocked.

So the President himself thought he would just pass the Obamacare as easily as saying ABC. The same thing that you and I think. "If I become president, I'll do this".

"Yeah well good luck negotiating with the FUCKING CONGRESS".

The president is but a mere "puppet" indeed, when it comes to power, the Congress owns him / her.

And no, the president does not control the economy or jobs. "Presiding" is not controlling. I guarantee you things would have been totally different the moment he took office if the USA was an autocratic Government. Because then being a dictator, you can make anyone do anything.

Have you seen Presidential Debate 2012 on Jobs? Both of them want to look like they do create jobs. I know they don't, but that's the emotional reasoning of the unemployed.

Ummm... what happens if you go to a road trip and take some "recreational" weed with you and you
somehow happen to be stopped by a cop from the state where it is not legal.
I think the cop will bust you and be in his own right.

Medical marijuana is not just California, but about 1/3 of all states in the US. Marijuana is in fact illegal in all states of the US, even CO and WA, due to federal law. If the feds wanted to for whatever reason, they could prosecute you for possession of medical marijuana, and the federal penalties are nonintuitively severe.

I recall a case in Boulder where an employee got fired for smoking a (tobacco) cigarette on his lunch hour, away from work. Since the election they have been saying that companies (such as Intel) that institute mandatory drug testing could not now fire you if they found THC in your urine. Of course the nicotine users that do all the work keeping the company going can get fired whereas all the stoners who are just filling up space can't.

Also in Boulder they are planning to have something like a $1000 fine for smoking a cigarette on the Pearl Strret Mall and they can't even enforce the law on the dope addicts that infest CU on April 20.

feredal law sucks ...

war on (tobacco) cigarettes is good, but don't forget that your employees are not your property ...

let's look into the urine of O*ama and all Bush'es too ...

The drug policy in USA (and elsewhere) is and always has been

1. Extremist
2. Contradictional
3. Expensive
4. and of course reliably miserably failing at the end ( NO we CAN'T )
