As usual, when "security" gets in the way people will just bypass it. Sometimes it just seems pointless even bothering to add security checks to software or hardware. |

microsofts key is already widespread in mainboards (any vendor not willing add it would be self murder)
mainboard vendors are not forced to add Linux key there is a question where is ms benefit if it supports booting his rival OS anyway everybody can add another key into database and have both keys there (reflashing the firmware, or maybe using SetVariable ?) |
