Good day. I'd like to ask, whether it would be a good idea to make display support Unicode output. I think, it would be perfectly enough to allow numeric constants above $FF to be used with the display directive as the only way to output Unicode. Quoted strings should be treated as ASCII as before to preserve backward compatibility. Numeric constants from the lower part of the ASCII table retain compatibility by design.

If I recall correctly I think there was a macro someone made in the macro section that does that. I'll try to find it.

I'm pretty sure, it's impossible to do with a macro. It's even quite problematic to do for systems without Unicode support such as DOS, which would require to do a graphical output. On the other hand, display does not affect the actual compilation output (a compiled binary), and therefore the author could find it acceptable to support Unicode only for a subset of systems.
