I am a newbie to fasmarm, so sorry for this simple question.

The statement in fasmarm is quite simple (just mentioned need to download fasm and do the compilation). It sounds like only fasm.exe is necessary to do the compilation, but it reported some files cannot be found in fasmarm. Do I need to copy some other files to fasmarm?

What you actually want to do? Downloaded packages already contain compiled binaries you need. For example, Win32 package contains FASMWARM.exe (GUI version) and FASMARM.exe (console version) of the compiler.

If you want to recompile them with educational goals, I am not sure it is the best beginner task. Smile You will need to download the regular FASM package in order to obtain the missing files.

You need to do some things:
  • Download fasm
  • Download fasmarm
  • Extract fasm to your folder
  • Extract fasmarm to the same folder as fasm
  • Set your 'include' environment variable
  • Compile: "fasm fasmarm"
