Not really. I an referring to the fact that the ARM ISA is very different from the x86 ISA. Once someone has completed this puzzle we can all see just how much is required to get the ARM CPU to do what an x86 will do.

Note that doing a reverse translation (from ARM to x86) would be just as ugly and inelegant.

That first instruction alone is an ugly translation. I might work on your puzzle tonight, when I'm not at work. Wink Am I also to assume "AL" and "AH" are, as in x86, part of the same register? Or is that one of the freedoms afforded by the rules?
