Huawei, well, there are lots of government agents inside this company I guess, building exploits, no doubt, such agents existed too in Apple, Microsoft, Google, Android, Linux, anonymous and etc group that produce things for mass people. Probably need lots of USD to develop such group, undercover and infiltrates major company. Stealing all kinds of insider information, sell stocks before they sink, buy before they surge. Create pharmaceutical companies, drugs, anti aging, cancers cures, better transport, lower daily goods price, better healthcare, the goal is to provide everything free and self sustain. https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=19567399 |

My super hero, this is the idea we all should follow to reduce all rubbishes on Earth.
Dieter Rams designed products to last a lifetime — and he's horrified by how we throw things away https://mobile.abc.net.au/news/2019-04-06/dieter-rams-the-braun-design-who-made-products-to-last-lifetime/10970850 ~ I am here, everything okay. |

I do agree with the idea of things lasting a lifetime time, or longer.
But the problem is that people are greedy. So companies won't "grow" and sell lots of stuff if everything lasts "too long". Which leads to companies being very happy that the products they sell quickly expire, become obsolete, wear out, or break. Because then they can sell more stuff to replace it. It all comes back to eliminating greed. The root cause of waste is greed. |

i have a thought about this, in fact, the start-up is always aim to penetrate the market with lower price, eg. spacex, which successfully lower the entry price to send things up there, and perhaps etc more companies out there.
the idea should be making things more permanent, lasting a lifetime and etc, easy to repair, parts available, the goal shouldn't be selling, it is not about making more monies, it is about making sure, everybody able to have an iphone forever inside their pocket, the last iphone that will keep on upgrade physically and software, one could source the parts and diy to add more values into iphone, is like making things more affordable? idk, reduce garbage, |

Why mail and parcel delivery companies don't build steel container that could be reuse like forever? Now we are wrapping the things with plastic and more plastic, which is very bad with the rise of ecommerce.
Are those plastic bags environmental friendly? |

revolution
It costs more fuel to transport heavy steel containers. So both plastic and steel are not environmentally friendly for package delivery.

how about plastic container that can be reused over and over, that is less heavy and certainly create less plastic bags from packaging.
hydrogen powered mail parcel truck should exist by now. |

Gene Therapy Was Hailed as a Revolution. Then Came the Bill
GENE THERAPY IS NOW AVAILABLE, BUT COULD COST MILLIONS OVER A LIFETIME, SAYS SCIENTISTS https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/health-and-families/gene-therapy-cost-rare-genetic-diseases-treatment-expensive-research-a8275391.html They should follow Toyota, sharing its EV secrets for free, and enable every human on Earth to pursue a healthy life, healthy body. Taxes should be imposed on companies which produce harmful goods. One day, hackers will hack into these corporate servers and release all secrets about gene editing researches. ![]() |

So you suggest to forcibly take the results of lots of hard work from those people and not give them any compensation in return?
Or think of it this way: If they knew ahead of time that all their work would just be taken without anything in return, then they have no incentive to spend time developing it in the first place. They also want to eat. |

It's more of a need, not a want.
As for humanity, it is ungrateful. |

And there is nothing wrong with plastic nor steel, once again.

And I could give away some suggestions to Rams, if he pays.
P.S. No travelling to Germany either, oh no. |

revolution wrote: So you suggest to forcibly take the results of lots of hard work from those people and not give them any compensation in return? we built schools, lots of, colleges, universities, we trained doctors, nurses, engineers, programmers, scientists, mathematicians, and lots of crucial human. Why we push the idea about knowledge, learning, why it is a right for any human to learn? to study, to think, to imagine, to create etc? There are conflicts, for sure, between countries, political parties, etc, between human, because we got unconscious decision on what we like and dislike, that is something totally beyond our control imo. |

This actually bring back the question where is the line that divide black and white
Anyone who feel that, elites, corporations already crossed the lines, like holding up those crucial information for the good of humanity, will have reasons to justify their actions. Basically, sane people need reasons, strong one, to justify their actions that they know could hurt others. imo. People under threats, stresses, when given reasons, will also execute actions that hurt others. revolution wrote: ... not give them any compensation in return? It doesn't works this way, whether they received compensation of not is what people perceived through guessing, they could hold a press conference and describe how poor and how hard they cope with their daily life, but if people perceived they are lying, then hackers will still hack those servers and released crucial information. |

If research is worth billions then you can be assured it will be secured very well. Not everything is connected to the Internet. You can't hack something if it doesn't have a routaeble IP address.

This also bring up the idea, how to secure a company image?
If some multi millionaire start a campaign to smear Google, basically, everybody will stop using Chrome or any Google related services. People don't want to be directly associated with something evil, damaging, or etc values that they could see relation linked when they don't want such relation. Try paint those bombs with McDonalds or KFC logo. Imagine a person who was in the front page, pedophile, do you still want to link up with this person? A sane adult aged 53 wouldn't marry and have sex with a girl who still playing toys at the age of 6 to 9, regardless of any reason. Then people turn a blind eye to such evidence because it is easier if they don't know, it is easier to call such information as attack to personal belief system etc. |
