Sure.
Browsing and posting via mobile phones are still not convenient enough.

On the other hand, there's a cool forum app called Tapatalk, and if your forum engine supports it, then Tapatalk will render your forum automatically into its mobile version.

It also supports phpBB. I don't think this forum is supported though, since it's still using an old version of phpBB (?).

You get an emulator, and share the executable file to others test in a real hardware. You can also use the C# language instead of Java and then you will be able to almost same code in both platforms.

Of course if you want to,that's only a suggestion..

.C# sounds great for mobile development. Better than JAVA only that it's not cross platform. (that's another thread worth argument)

C# run on also all windows platforms(of course) but on Mac,iOS,linux and Android too. The keyword is: Mono. Is an open source compiler, but it is not free to compiler generate code to target platform, but you can use for free the mono emulator. There's others compilers and languages to write portable mobile application(more than java) but it's one of the best around.

IMO,is much better just use C# and Mono than C#+java+obj-c to make a portable application. You write code one time. In this case,C# is more portable than java. The worst is Obj-C that doesn't run in any other platform(until I know). There's Obj-c to Java converters, some capanies portable its games from a platform to other by using this method.

EDIT: Sorry for this big post, that is not even the answer. Maybe we could to open a thread to this.

I dunno, if I remember weren't you the one interested in viruses a while back? Wink

I think my android browser works fine thank you Laughing I mean, unless you wrote a plugin and tomasz agreed to install it on the web site, then it would not be any faster than using a browser, infanct it would be quite the contraire.

I would however love to see this board on tapatalk since I use it for a few forums I visit, however tomasz would need to upgrade to phpbb3 first Sad

On my phone accessing the board is already comfortable, but having it on tapatalk as someone already suggested would be really nice
