this idea struck me today,

we never really own anything, since our birth till now, we just experience them,

experience the taste of food, a nice bedroom, a happy family, having A's for major subjects, having E's, friendships, wives, enemy, betrayal, lust, sex, wedding, love relationship, divorce, and everything.

all memories are the results of experience.

we never really own anything physically, except we turn it into experience.

and since everything from our sensors are just electrical signals, so basically, every experiences are electrical signals too.

all our love, hate, feelings, ~ electrical signals...

Does this knowledge affect your enjoyment of those things?

very good question Smile

easier to let go those attachments,
able to accept those negative experiences, after all, everything is same ~ signals, there is nothing good or bad, everything has its own place & value.

signals reflect with signals,

everything (the process itself) are the goals (getting/sending signals).

regarding enjoyment,
idk yet, but maybe one day i would understand lots of things in a more different perspective.

From your current perspective, any other perspective would be just a different interpretation of those signals, hence the endless cycle.

different interpretation creates different experiences (which is good imo),

it is reality liberation.

eg. the same MCD burger, the feeling when having it time hungry and full are totally different,

it still quite the same MCD burger, but the different states of ourself (form different perspectives & interpretations) reflect back different signals.

of course, to view (or accept) it as endless cycle is part of experience too.

It's also not just electrical signals. There is a huge chemical / enzyme component. There is also the 'hardware'. It's not like running different aps on an IPhone 4, every brain is a little different. Not only are they different from the start, brains are self modifying hardware. Worse, random bits just die. It's also a strange mix of analog and digital, with parts of the brain and it's control mechanisms spread through out the entire body.

All of our experiences also seem to get into the brain through several memory mapped areas, that then pass the information through areas that seem to be hard coded to do some filtering and conversions....

Then there are the actual IO devices. The sight, taste, hearing ect differ from person to person. God / nature seem to have wider qc standards then the electronics industry. The dna version control process also seems to keep throwing parts in that were thought discontinued millions of years ago. Not to even get into the random spec changes Smile
