Hi guys,

I need your expert brains to solve this:

Is there a way I can manipulate a monitor status (enabled or disabled)? Basically I'm writing something which allows a monitor to be disabled or enabled at a command prompt, which in turn will cause Windows to stop using a second/third monitor and switch to a single desktop environment.

I don't want the monitor to be turned off, but merely disabled like you can do through the control panel/device settings.

I've been trawling through the Windows API to no avail.
