Yes, there is a truth in the speech, but what follows? What we should do? "A la guerre comme a la guerre?" Very Happy

Well, the first thing to do is perhaps decide, what outcome one would like to see. Would you be afraid to have open-source general-purpose computer controlling your car? Or perhaps programming whatsoever should be licensed like car driving is now? Do we want general-purpose computers everywhere, in limited places, or not available to the public at all? Restrictions of one kind of the other seem inevitable, but where the compromise shall land?

exactlly like we all want to know how things are made, it is natural we want to know how software are made.

you will never go to a restaurant where food is opensourced, no? yes, macdonald, coca cola, medications too are closed source.

then, finally, things have source closed because people don't care about the source, if it tastes yummy, and have fancy colors, then, it is good, that's all. they don't care what is behind things. now, we know that, means that we can do anything, nobody cares about. Smile
