i just notice this, wonder why a hike in processor usage when holding down a key?

eg.

will cause a high processor usage?

i run a screen saver on win xp sp3 installed - awful
but it was ok on a live cd

i run a math program on on win xp sp3 installed - awful
but it was ok on other pc's

...

which font do you use
mine is 'Courier New'

+ anti aliased

after i change it to courier new and disable the anti aliased, i get 7%, otherwise 20% or more.
