hi there,
i was trying to add new DEVMODE struct using the fasmw editor, then it prints out Error: illegal instruction.

any idea how to add DIY struct?

ma using the provided template.asm for testing, screenshot like below.

the SAIZE is what i copied from the EQUATES folder SIZE structure.

i just realized it needs to be in .data section...
so include of DIY struct file must be in .data section.

It is not the section that is your problem.

You have to include win32w.inc before you try to use the struct macro.
