new AVX2 instructions GATHER are with 'P' (VPGATHER .. ) or no?
In 319433-011 : description in Chapter 5 x Opcode Map

BTW, do you know how soon is AVX2 going to be implemented into standard processors? I'm not sure what priority should I give to implementing AVX2 into fasm.

If you trust wikipedia, perhaps it would make sense to support AVX2 by mid-2012 (because some people may want to start using it with emulators, not because the silicon will be ready).

Intel published about two weeks ago new instructions for Transactional Synchronization Extensions (TSX) for the new Haswell processor. It is announced for beginning of 2013. So will the instructions be implemented right in time ? Very Happy
