As kevin and vid say, use of "enter" means that you want the stack frame to be set up and that - for example - [EBP+4] contains the return address, etc. Only in case of procedure with no "enter" (and therefore no local variables) and no arguments the macros will not make it for you, and "return" will generate just RETN instruction.
