Like in the Inception movie, but the limbo is at the 2nd lvl.

I have WMPlayer installed over Win7 with WinXp inside. The hosted WinXp has inside Oracle VirtualBox with a cd iso of puppy linux inside.

It start to boot, but hangs in the part of loading the filesystem from the iso.

In theory it should work, but it doesn't Laughing

The size of puppy iso is 130mb.

First I did it that way, accesing from a shared folder. As it didn't work, I copied puppy into the host hard disk.

Virtual box is a portable version.

Nice I can boot from mb 2GiB and 4GiB Flash

I have Ubuntu, Linux and Windows 7 Pro. Only Windows7(Vmware) boots and so does Ubuntu but I can't figure out why the GUI doesn't show.

I have all of the images on a 250 GiB USB HDD

I never knew there was a portable version of V~Box Very Happy

Yes, there is a portable version of virtual box. Download. LiLu USB creator, select the iso file from disk or web download, then select the option that will enable to run the pendrive os without rebooting. It will install a virtual box on pendrive that will use as HD the pendrive itself.

^^Yeah I didn't get that part. In VBox it crashed when writing a file to ram but in Vmware everything was ok. But I had no clue how to install it because the disc disappeared in Linux when I went to setup to install it. I can only run it as a whole live OS

I think Virtual Box sucks... How can it crash because of 320 MB RAM ?

In VMware ,Windows 7 Pro is 7GiB and I use 512 MB and it runs well with no probs.
