[SIGH] Crying or Very sad

My favorite national team Argentina got knocked out of 2011 Copa América in the quarterfinals yesterday. Crying or Very sad

Argentina has not won any major football tournaments for years! Crying or Very sad

LocoDelAssembly, being an Argentine, you should do something about it! At least make some suggestions to the AFA!

I'm leaving in Argentina too, and yes, some guys really got depressed. It's a huge shame I guess. (not a big football fun)

Well, this is the third time I'm writing this message, since I can't write without entering into political stuff I'll just limit myself to say I'm greatly happy of what happened, period.

Well, what can I say? Confused

I thought you would support your national team. It seems I am wrong. Wink

BTW, YONG, did you learn of what happened some time ago with the second favorite local team here?

http://knowyourmeme.com/videos/10695-angry-soccer-fan-tano-pasman#.TiPIVGHX_1g

To put in perspective, what occurred is equivalent to Real Madrid or perhaps Barcelona descending to second division/league (the team was performing badly in the last local tournaments of course, but was awarded a lot of titles in the past).

PS: This is not my favorite team, mine is "Estudiantes de La Plata", that team who lost against Barcelona in the "FIFA Club World Cup" precisely by a goal of Messi, who although supposedly the best player in the world, he never performs so well when he plays for Argentina... (and never sings the Argentinian anthem, BTW, so fuck you Messi! Very Happy)

Football and political stuff, the most used themes on an avarage argentinan "macho" conversation during the "asado". ^^

My advice: take it lightly with a lots of soda.

Loco, you can't directly compare Barcelona FC and Argentina national team. And you know the technical reasons.

Anyway, I respect your personal views on the matter.

Oh no no, the comparison was with the event that occurred with a local team, just to show how fucked up is getting football here (also the rival team Boca Juniors is not going so well either and could have the same destiny soon if they don't improve). I guess this is what happens when having all good players playing for Europe and having good careers (except when playing for the national team, in which they exercise "legs protection mode" and don't play any good but as I've said initially, I'm glad this happened Very Happy).

so fuck you Messi!

In the ass and in the mouth!!!!!! Twisted Evil

Do you remember when Argentina lost in the world cup to Germany...(the last time, with Maradona as coach or whas in the other?)
Messi didn't play that match, so when in the second half, Palermo was set as the last time player change, Messi was there, chewing some gum with a face like a stubborn baby that couldn't have his lolipop.

some days ago, messi punched in the face

OK, I got what you meant.

Well, it seems you guys don't like Messi at all.

I don't care about a player's life OUTSIDE the pitch, as long as he plays well on it.

Neymar 2 - Messi 0
xD
I just don't want Venezuela win this championship, because Hugo Chavez will use it to 'drug' his people.

But i am too bad wishing things, so probably they will win it. xD

I'm glad Brazil got fu..ed up too. A team that belongs to sponsors, where the coach is just a marionette, deserves it. Those fu..ing players sell their bodies to play in Europe.
