I like the PC but I'd not get it because of the fact that you cannot install other OSs. It only has Google Chrome on it.

Like WTF ? Evil or Very Mad

Some one was trying to do but was getting errors. (Flash the BIOS and install Fedora 4, I think)

It is not so funny. The big corporations badly wants all users to use so called SaaS - software as a service. This cr-48 is one of the first experiments in this field and simply a probe to test the user response. If they succeed to market it widely, there will be more and more models like this.
Then, when most (60%) of the users accept this approach, the corporations will just stop all other PC from the market and thus will force all users to use SaaS. Even the open software will not stop this trend, because the corporations already have control of the open source development.
