If you're bored this weekend think of spending some time trying to patch that Razz

Hint: The highlight works if the word happens to be present in the current page (that is the reason of why the double click in the workaround mentioned by some users works).

Adobe takes so long to patch something because they do extensive quality assurance? It seems we now have the answer...

In my windows 7 partition, I somehow have adobe plugin for chrome, so I open the PDF with chrome.
And yes, win 7 won't open it. I dont remember installing anything adobe related.


in winxp, I use the LiberKey suite of free portable apps:
http://www.liberkey.com/en.html

for pdf, it has sumatraPDF and PDF exchange viewer.


Time ago a used to use foxit, but for this to last years, I somehow use only the apps that are in the liberkey suite, if theres an app for the thing I need, I use it and dont bother to download other

A, by the way, PC with 256 of RAM or even 512MB, the latest version of adobe pdf just run really bad. Really bad. At my work I have to use adobe reader 6, becouse if I install the latest one, it almoste crash the pc.
