My web site is going to be going away at the end of the month. Most of it is stuff for DexOS. If any thing there might be of interest you should download it.

It was a fun hobby thing to do, then life got ugly and the programming was a nice escape. Then the project got political and nasty, I got thrown out of the project for refusing to take sides. Now I'm loosing the house and would have to change isp's, I just see no reason to go to the effort to move the site to where ever I end up.

Depends on which american you talk to, as a majority, Americans are stupid, but some of us are smarter than others

I've heard some pretty stupid British politicians and celebrities but I've never assumed their comments to represent the British people. Likewise for Americans.

Having traveled abroad a lot, it's disturbing to see the difference between what is shown on media and what is actually going on. NEVER trust the media.

I take what the media says with a pinch of salt, but after seeing the scenes of celebration after the death of Bin Laden, as if you had won a football match or something, i do not need the media to make my mind up.

As for "stupid British politicians" they are just poodles of the Americans, its the same as being friends with the bullies, just to have a bit of power, they are spineless.

Do not get me wrong theres good and bad in all countries, but in some countries the bad have bigger voices.
Have a good day.

It's your project, you are welcome to run it any way you want. Like I told you, no hard feelings, you are welcome to any of the files there to do what ever you want with. The main part of the project is your source code and I only ever marginally claimed any rights to the stuff I wrote. I basically consider my efforts there public domain, you, or any one else can have them. It's not a big deal, there isn't any money in it and I don't think any one even realistically could take credit for source code that so clearly has your name and style all over it. I have no idea what the fight was even about. If you want to view me as the enemy, you are welcome to, I hold you no ill will and have no room for the drama. I'll be around till the end of the month and my site will be. If any one wants the software, download it by then, any questions, ask by then.

That's what I'm talking about. I live here and never heard one word from *anyone* about it, nor saw any celebrations or nor even heard about any celebrations. We're busy dealing with an economic crisis that our politicians are making worse. Their horn-blowing about bin Laden had little effect, few were interested and even fewer were impressed. But our self-loathing media, always in search of high drama, found a group of idiots and then narrowed the world's view of America by showing them to you. You are being controlled just like how they limit our view of you. I was in England at the time of the wedding and didn't meet anyone who cared about it - in fact many had negative comments - but in the U.S. the media made it look as though everyone in England was so excited. One cab driver told me "no one cares a monkey's cuss about, do they?" Another said the crowd was "a bunch of tossers".

Politicians share the same goals. To gain power and money. To that end, they work together. If you see the British politicians as "lap dogs" to American politicians it's because they want you to see it that way. Remember the first rule of politics is to have someone to blame for your own behavior. Liars prefer to look stupid or naive versus being caught.

When we have an anti-tax republican congress together with an anti-tax republican president our taxes are raised frequently. When we have a liberal congress and a liberal president our taxes are raised frequently. When we have a middle of the road congress/president our taxes are raised frequently. Politicians are like religions - if you don't believe one maybe you'll believe the other - but they all work together for power and money.

Humans go through developmental stages. The last 20 years most of us have felt that we've awakened to various truths. A great many of us are better "informed" to the extent that's possible/available.

I think the next 20 years will be us coming to grips with the fact the media is just a loosely-based reality show getting rich on advertisements and that we need to ignore them. That'll be when we take back our governments - when we take real responsibility. That time will come.
