Hello,

Is there a way to work around this?

Quote:

john@Ultimate:~/asm/src$ fasm cnvmysql.fasm
flat assembler version 1.69.31 (16384 kilobytes memory)
error: out of memory.
john@Ultimate:~/asm/src$

I have a .sql file I would like to convert that is about 35 MB. When I set my output file area at 50 MB I am getting this error.

My Linux desktop has almost 8 GB of memory. More than enough for files of this size.

Thanks,
John

Use "fasm -m 524288 cnvmysql.fasm" to allow fasm to suck 512 MB of your memory or pick the amount of memory you wish.

Thank you, that worked out perfectly.

This is only my 5th fasm program and I know I still have a lot to learn.
