1, and least important) How do i use parameters? the pointer in the header... will MeOS put an ASCIIZ string at that point?

2) I am planning to do panel, but a little better (allowing applets). the applet should be a seperate task without a window, and gives panel a way to tell it if it's pic was clicked, and also gives panel it's current picture. How could they exchange that data?

1)There is a special value in program's header. It's called I_PARAM. This is a pointer to parameters area which have to be 256 bytes long.
I recommend to place it after all data.

2) IPC?
