whats the diffrence between mode 0 and 1/2 and 3 using int 10 interface?
They both do the same and there is no diffrence.

huh Question
mode 0 = 40x25 B/W
mode 1 = 40x25 16 colours
mode 2 = 80x25 16 shades of grey
mode 3 = 80x25 16 colours

I think that the 16 grey shades were for CGA/EGA only (mode 0 and 2).
For MCGA/VGA all 4 modes are 16 colours.

But I was just trying to show b152 that the original definitions for CGA and EGA adapters were indeed different. All he is seeing is the "modern" VGA emulation of those Wink
Why he's even bothering with them I don't know...

when i change video mode, can i assume certain cursor size/position, selected page and blikn/intensity setting?
