hello all. I am brand new to MeOS. Tried it for the first time today.. first time problems I found were Sound card wouldn't work and most importantly I can't get the network adapters to work. my laptop has PCMCIA 3com card and my desktop has a 3com 3c905B card.. Is there any changes or packet drivers out there for 3com card yet.. I haven't seen anything on here about that.

Help!
thank you

FYI...

Cool. Thanks for the quick reply. Endre is working on a 3C905-TX card drver at
the moment, so keep an eye on the forum for posts from Endre or me.

Cheers,

Mike

All the three chips will be supported by one driver. The situation is not so beautiful though. The 3C905 series, better saying chips with full bus mastering (nickname is boomerang) are the first ones which will be supported soon. Nevertheless PCMCIA cards won't work since we have no Cardbus driver yet.

Yes, it will, and if I have correctly checked the type then it will be supported from the first release of the driver on.

Endre.
