Hello!

Since 2008 I'm working on BDOS/286. Is there any coder outside, who wants to help me, creating software for this DOS (tools, games and so on) ?

I would if I could, but I'm afraid my skills are too limited.

What apps did you have in mind? Can regular FreeDOS apps work or does it need to use / avoid certain interrupt functions?

And most importantly (though I hate the thought), what license is BonnyDOS? Sadly, I think that makes the biggest difference.

agreed if it is truly free i would be glad to work on it with you. if it is gpl lgpl, or somethng copyleft, then forget it, but if its mit, bsd, or public domain that is awesome

Meister,

Is there Developer's Manual in English? My German/Spanish language skills are lousy.

Sorry for the late Answer.

BDOS/286 is completely free - because it is only a Hobby. It is not compatible to MS-DOS or FreeDOS - it is a complete own Systen. And of course, it uses its own interrupts ($F1 for CRT, $F2 Keyboard, $F3 Kernal, $F4 Extra (for example command line parameters, register to string and so on), $F5 File I/O.

At the moment, I create a new homepage, because the current release 1.27 contains big changes (MBR, new Partitioning Software, Bootmanager). The Kernel-Reference is still in german, but if you want, I will translate it to english Smile

I will post the link to the page as soon as the homepage is ready Smile

And yes - what kind of programs I need - all. Games, tools, Applications. The problem is, there are a few people using BDOS, but I am the only programmer :-/ Smile

Greetings,

Meister
