I have the followinf tools:
Emu8086 version 2.57
and flatassembler latest version.

1)In flatassembler the compiled files end in EXE.
On Emu8086 they end in COM.
If i want to create an OS are these extensions usable?
I mean if i create it in Com/EXE Format and make a OS Loader,will it work?

As far as I remember most OS kernels are in flat files. So that would be like .com. You might wish to ask this in the OS development board, below this board.
