Very raw and alpha
-Needs an installer
-Does not accept the path-to-download-to given
-Stores it all in an unbrowseable format
-English translation is confusingly bad

Never the less, the idea is quite good.

But Wikipedia offers a database download already. Is there something wrong with the existing Wikipedia download? What does this tool do that isn't already offered at Wikipedia?

There was - i never heard of it before.
And there still is - "Static HTML dumps" don't seem to work there.

Probably there is a different kind of English...

The only problem I find now, is that the sources are not yet available actually.

Exactly, it is only provided as an installer.

Or, more likely, they use terminology i didn't recognise.

Meaning, if i change "installation destination" it would still "install" the download to the desktop.

Do you mean the Corpus (wiki archive)?
You can choose where to download it.

Something in English and C maybe? Without these two things, format can barely become accepted.

Currently Wikipedia does not allow or provide facilities to download all images.

Does Okawix scan the images section and download them, or does it just takes the images that appear on the mainspace pages?
