My first high-level programming language was FORTRAN-IV so I can easily adopt the idea of literal constant's value being accidentally redefined; can anybody else? Wink
BTW, do you know LISP? Smile

Tomasz Grysztar,

Mostly pen-and-paper experience. I've spent many hours in library studying various programming languages (COBOL, Simula and APL were the most amusing, while Algol-60, FORTH, LISP and Prolog gave me the basic understanding of how differently one can approach the same task). Later I've got some implementations of them and toyed with for a while. That's invaluable: with some effort one can use declarative paradigm in strictly procedural (i.e. imperative) language to redefine the way problem is solved.
